  • Dr Catherine Reeder – Female, (part-time at both surgeries) MB.Ch.B DRCOG
    Dr Catherine Reeder qualified in Medicine in 1993 from Bristol, acquiring a BA Hons in pharmacology along the way. She completed her GP training at this surgery and stayed, becoming a partner in 1999.Her clinical interests include minor surgery and maternity care.Her time away from the surgery is spent chauffering around her 3 young children, cleaning up after pets and cycling.
  • Dr Rupa Joshi – Female, (part-time at Woodley Surgery) MB BS MRCGP DCH
    Dr Rupa Joshi completed her medical degree at Charing Cross Hospital, London and joined this surgery in 2001 initially as a GP Registrar. She is particularly interested in paediatrics, allergies, psychiatry and maternity care. She has a fearsome reputation in the surgery as a quiz-team queen, enjoys vegan cooking and fancy dress parties.
  • Dr Susan Eggleton – Female, (part-time at both surgeries) BA BM BCh MRCGP DRCOG DCH
    Dr Susan Eggleton has been with the surgery since 2004, having spent some years at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in the fertility and genito-urinary medicine departments. She qualified from Oxford University in 1985 and has 3 grown-up children, not yet fully-fledged. Her medical interests include diabetes, men’s and women’s sexual health, coil-fitting, contraceptive implant fitting and the menopause.
    Outside the surgery she likes to follow a frustrating local football team, tap-dances and jogs if the weather is really good.
  • Dr Mark Reed– Male, (part-time at both surgeries) MA BM.BCh MRCGP DRCOG Cert Med Ed DTM&H
    Dr Reed qualified from Oxford in 1998, heading to Bournemouth for his GP training. He is involved in teaching the GPs of the future and is particularly interested in respiratory medicine, tropical medicine and sports medicine.
    Away from the surgery he is a keen runner though is run ragged by his two young children. He hopes the residents of Woodley and Winnersh will join him on Park Runs.
  • Dr Shirin Shakur – Female, (part-time at Woodley Surgery) MBBS DFFP
    Dr Shakur works part-time at Woodley Surgery. She qualified in Pakistan and has worked in the UK for the past 24 years. Her interests include rheumatology, including joint injections, diabetes and family planning.
    She gardens for relaxation.
